Located in an older, quiet neighborhood just a block and a half from the University of Oregon and minutes away from downtown Eugene, it is the ideal home away from home for the University visitor, vacationer, or business traveler. Awaken to a room full of light. Then begin your day with a leisurely breakfast and a complimentary paper in the dining room. Here on business? Arrange for an early continental breakfast before your morning meeting. You'll find plenty of space to work in your room or one of the four public rooms. Relax, stretch out, and explore the treasures of the Inn and garden. Sculpture, art, photos, inscribed poems and antiques are tucked away everywhere. It's up to you to find them. Help yourself to tea or coffee anytime in Daphne, the second story sitting room. (And meet this peaceful room's namesake.) Chat with the innkeeper about your day. You'll find maps and menus from local restaurants, event schedules-everything you'll need to plan an adventure. When you return, the Great Room is waiting with comfortable chairs and couches for reading, get-togethers or all-important dozing. You'll find fire in the evening, and a baby grand piano (if you play, please do). All of the rooms at the Secret Garden Bed and Breakfast Inn have private baths with combination tubs and showers, TV/VCRs, small refrigerators, telephones and music by choice. 1910 University Street, Eugene, OR - From Mahlon Sweet Field: Depart airport going southwest on Arrivals/Departures toward Service Road and turn slightly left onto Terminal Exit. Turn slightly right onto Northrop Drive then turn left onto Airport Road. Turn right onto OR-99 and then merge onto Beltline Highway East towards I-5/Springfield. Merge onto Delta Highway South toward Valley R. Center/Eugene. Merge onto I-105 East/OR-126 East via the exit on the left toward I-5. Take the Country Club Road exit - EXIT 2 - toward Coburg Road. Turn slightly left onto Country Club Road. Turn slightly right onto Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard/Centennial Boulevard. Turn right onto Coburg Road, which becomes a ramp, and keep left at the fork in the ramp. Turn slightly right onto Mill Street/OR-99/OR-126 BR East. Continue to follow OR-99 South/OR-126 BR East. Turn right onto Agate Street. Turn right onto East 18th Avenue. Turn left onto University Avenue and continue until you reach the property.
